"Butterfly tie decor" (Model 1011) STL

The decorative element "Butterfly tie" (Model 1011) is a bas-relief with bilateral axial symmetry, formed by the interweaving of geometric ribbon elements with smooth curves and negative spaces simulating a stylized knot. Similar geometric knots and interlaced ribbon ornaments were actively used in early medieval architecture and woodcarving of the northern peoples of Europe, particularly in 8th-9th century Irish and Scandinavian manuscripts and stone crosses (such as the ornamentation of the Book of Kells), where they symbolized infinity and protection from evil forces. The element is used for decorating furniture facades, door portals, wall panels, and interior elements.
