Central decor element (Model 1116) STL

The central decorative element features bilateral symmetry based on a classical cartouche framed by vegetal ornament. The composition comprises a central shield transitioning into symmetrically diverging scrolls and stylized acanthus leaves executed in high relief. Such motifs of symmetrical scrolls and cartouches became widespread in French architecture during the reign of Louis XIV, when court architect Jules Hardouin-Mansart actively employed them in the decoration of the Grand Trianon in Versailles to establish strict axial symmetry in interiors. The element is suitable for decorating furniture facades, door portals, wall panels, and interior elements.
