Central decor element (Model 1118) STL

The central decorative element is a symmetrical composition with bilateral mirror symmetry. The basis of the ornament consists of paired volutes diverging from the central vertical axis, completed with stylized acanthus leaves and palmettes at the intersection zone. Such motifs of active plant scrolls with a central axis of symmetry became widespread in the decoration of the French Regency interior thanks to architect Gilles-Marie Oppenord, who was one of the first to use dynamic plant forms in the panels of the Bourbon Pavilion. Suitable for decorating furniture facades, door portals, ceiling coffers, wall panels, and interior design.
