Central decor element (Model 1119) STL

The central decorative element features strict bilateral symmetry relative to the vertical axis. The bas-relief composition is constructed from diverging volutes forming scrolls and stylized acanthus leaves, complemented by a central shell and a latticed cartouche at the top. Similar motifs of symmetrical curling volutes and vegetative shoots became widespread in the architectural decoration of the French Regency era, when court architect Gilles-Marie Oppenord first translated the dynamic forms of early rocaille from goldsmithing into large-scale monumental decorative arts. Suitable for decorating furniture facades, door portals, ceiling coffers, wall panels, and interior house decoration.
