The central decorative element features strict bilateral axial symmetry with a dominant central motif in the form of a shell-rocaille, flanked by symmetrically diverging volutes and stylized acanthus leaves. The relief is multi-level, executed in high relief technique with detailed veining of the leaves and radial ribs of the shell. Historically, the stylized shell motif (rocaille), which serves as the basis of this cartouche, gained widespread use in architecture and decorative arts thanks to the architect Jules-Aurelle Meissonnier during the early reign of Louis XV in the 1730s, although prototypes were already employed in the grottoes of 16th-century Italian Mannerism. Suitable for decorating furniture facades, door portals, ceiling coffers, wall panels, and home interior decoration.
The digital 3D model in STL format is optimized for use on CNC machines during milling operations. The relief is adapted for the production of furniture and interior decor when working with solid wood, MDF, modeling plastic, or soft stone.
