Central decor element (Model 1125) STL

The central decorative element features strict bilateral symmetry relative to the vertical axis and represents a rocaille-style composition. A scallop shell (rocaille) is positioned centrally, from which C-shaped volutes symmetrically diverge into botanical shoots with leaves and buds. The relief is executed in high relief with detailed carving. This specific shell form, which became the principal motif of the Rococo style, derives its name from the French word "rocaille" (stone rubble and shells), used during the reign of Louis XV to decorate the grottoes of the Versailles gardens and the interiors of Parisian mansions, popularized by architect Jules-Aurèle Meissonier. Suitable for decorating furniture facades, door portals, ceiling coffering, wall panels, and home interior decoration.
