Central decor element (Model 1128) STL

The central decorative element features strict bilateral (axial) symmetry. The composition is built upon a classical cartouche supplemented by symmetrically diverging volutes and stylized acanthus leaves extending from the center. The central axis is emphasized by a vertical floral motif transitioning into symmetrical scrolls with ribbon-framing elements. Similar motifs of symmetrical floral ornamentation and volutes became widespread in the architectural decoration of 17th-century French Classicism, specifically being actively used in the interior decorative programs of the Palace of Versailles during the decoration of the State Apartments of Louis XIV under the direction of Charles Le Brun. Suitable for decorating furniture facades, door portals, ceiling coffers, wall panels, and interior architectural elements.
