Central decor element (Model 1138) STL

The central decorative element is based on bilateral axial symmetry and forms a complex relief cartouche. The central axis of the composition features a stylized scallop shell, surrounded by diverging symmetrical scrolls and carved acanthus leaves transitioning into lateral volutes. Such shell motifs (rocaille) gained widespread use in France during the Regency and the reign of Louis XV, when court architect Jean-Aurèle Meissonnier first combined asymmetric shell forms and plant shoots into unified spatial ensembles in the interiors of Versailles. Suitable for decorating furniture facades, door portals, ceiling coffers, wall panels, and interior home decoration.
