The central decorative element features strict bilateral symmetry relative to the vertical axis. The composition is based on a central oval medallion framed by symmetrical volutes and stylized acanthus leaves, transitioning into diverging scrollwork in the form of a bas-relief. Historically, such symmetrical cartouches with acanthus framing gained widespread use during the reign of Louis XIV and were actively employed by court architect Jules Hardouin-Mansart in the interior decoration of the Palace of Versailles to emphasize the formal axis of the rooms. Suitable for decorating furniture facades, door portals, ceiling coffers, wall panels, and interior house decoration.
