Central decor element (Model 1171) STL

The central decorative element (Model 1171) is a symmetrical horizontal bas-relief. The composition is built around a central oval cartouche, flanked by symmetrically mirrored volutes, acanthus scrolls, and stylized floral shoots. This type of symmetrical ornament with a central shield and floral framing became widespread in French Baroque and Rococo architecture, notably utilized by Jules Aurèle in the interior decoration of Parisian townhouses in the early 18th century to create compositional focal points on wall panels and furniture pediments. Suitable for decorating furniture facades, door portals, ceiling coffers, wall panels, and home interior design.
