Central decor element (Model 1191) STL

The central decorative element features strict bilateral axial symmetry and represents a complex relief composition. The composition is based on a central heraldic shield-cartouche crowned with a volumetric shell and connected to a horizontal shaft ending in stylized hop cones. On both sides of the shield, symmetrical volutes, festoons made of textile ribbons, and garlands of floral elements are arranged. This type of ornamental design utilizing cartouches, ribbons, and garlands became widespread in France during the reign of Louis XVI as part of the neoclassical return to classical canons, with prominent examples of carved wooden decor for the royal interiors of Versailles created under the direction of court architect Jules Hardouin-Mansart. Suitable for decorating furniture facades, door portals, ceiling coffering, wall panels, and home interior decoration.
