The central decor element (Model 1193) is a symmetrical bas-relief featuring bilateral (axial) composition. The ornament consists of a central palmette flanked by symmetrically diverging acanthus leaves terminating in opposing scroll volutes. Such vegetative motifs utilizing acanthus foliage and volutes were widely employed in the architectural decoration of ancient Greek temples and were later re-interpreted during the Italian Renaissance by architect Giacomo da Vignola, whose treatises established the canons of the classical orders. The item is used for decorating furniture facades, door portals, wall panels, and fireplace mantels.
The digital 3D model in STL format is intended for manufacturing physical objects on CNC milling machines. The relief is optimized for carving and producing interior decor elements when machining solid wood, MDF, modeling plastic, or soft stone.
