The decorative element «Cartush Basis» (Model 1912) is a bas-relief composition with bilateral symmetry, based on a shield with a smooth central field, framed by a complex contour of twisted volutes and floral elements. The perimeter is decorated with intertwined scrolls and stylized acanthus leaves, forming a dynamic plastic relief. Historically, cartouches as an architectural motif for framing coats of arms, inscriptions, or emblems became widespread during the Renaissance in France, when Jean Bérain and the Fontainebleau school introduced the motif of semi-unrolled parchment with rolled edges into royal interiors. This 3D model is used for decorating furniture facades, door portals, wall panels, and fireplace surrounds.
The digital 3D model is presented in STL format and is intended for manufacturing on CNC milling machines. The relief is optimized for layer-by-layer milling and allows for high-quality machining when working with solid wood of various species, MDF, plywood, modeling plastics, and soft stone.
