The decorative element "Cartouche in knight's style" (Model 1903) is executed in high relief technique using bilateral axial symmetry. The composition is built around a central element—a stylized helm with a visor topped by a crown, from which deeply carved acanthus leaves and scrolls ending in volutes extend symmetrically. Historically, the motif of knight's armor and heraldic weaponry became widespread during the Mannerism and Baroque periods of the 16th and 17th centuries, when trophy weapons and armor were systematically integrated into the architectural decoration of walls and portals in the armories of European monarchs, such as the Armory Gallery in the Palace of Versailles or the collections of the Palazzo Ducale in Mantua. Suitable for decorating furniture facades, door portals, ceiling coffers, wall panels, and interior house decoration.
The digital 3D model is provided in STL format and is intended for use on CNC machines. The relief is optimized for milling in the production of furniture and interior elements when working with solid wood, MDF, modeling plastic, or soft stone.
