Decor "Cartush leaves" (Model 1933) STL

The decor "Cartouche Leaves" (Model 1933) is a bas-relief composition with bilateral symmetry, based on a central oval cartouche flanked by symmetrically diverging scroll volutes and stylized acanthus leaves. The relief is built on the contrast between the smooth central area and dynamic, deeply carved plant elements forming a horizontally oriented ornamental frieze. This type of cartouche framed by leaf volutes became widespread in the architecture and decorative arts of the Mannerism and Early Baroque periods, when masters of the Antwerp school of engravers, such as Cornelis Bos and Hans Vredeman de Vris, first translated the motifs of leather straps and rolling scrolls into woodcarving and interior stucco of Northern Europe. Suitable for decorating furniture facades, door portals, ceiling coffers, wall panels, and home interior decoration.
