Decor "Cartush - two lions" under the coat of arms (Model 1957) STL

The decorative element "Cartouche — Two Lions" is a heraldic composition with bilateral mirror symmetry. The central part is occupied by a vertically oriented oval shield-cartouche framed by complex scroll volutes and acanthus leaves, designed to accommodate a coat of arms or monogram. Two heraldic figures of lions in profile are symmetrically positioned on the sides, supporting the shield with their paws. The lower base of the composition is decorated with floral ornaments and three-dimensional elements with a central medallion. The use of heraldic animals as supporters dates back to 13th-century medieval European heraldry, where lions symbolized courage, strength, and nobility, while the tradition of framing a central cartouche with them received large-scale development in the architectural decoration of the Baroque and Rococo eras, particularly in the interiors of the Palace of Versailles during the reign of Louis XIV. Suitable for decorating furniture facades, door portals, ceiling coffers, wall panels, and home interior design.
