Decor «Cesson Square» (Model 1966) is a square composition featuring a central radially symmetrical bas-relief structure. The perimeter is framed by a classical frieze decorated with stylized acanthus leaves and palmettes, with the corner zones accented by carved elements. The central part contains a circular profiled rosette surrounded by four symmetrical volutes with scrolls and acanthus foliage, forming a centripetal pattern. Historically, coffered ceilings were extensively used in Ancient Greek and Roman architecture (such as the coffers of the Pantheon's dome), where they initially served a structural purpose to reduce the weight of the vault before evolving into purely decorative elements of classical interiors.
