Decor "Cesson Square" (Model 1967) STL

The decorative element «Square Caisson» (Model 1967) is a relief composition of a strict geometric shape with central radial symmetry. The structure is based on a square contour, framed along the perimeter by a continuous ornamental frieze of stylized acanthus leaves and scroll volutes. Corner zones are filled with plant shoots radiating from the center to the corners. In the central part, there is a large circle with a relief rim decorated with geometric hatching, inside of which a recess for a relief is formed. This type of coffered ceiling with central circular medallions and floral framing was actively used in Roman architecture of the Early Empire era, in particular, in the creation of monumental concrete vaults of the Pantheon in the 2nd century AD, where square and rectangular caissons not only reduced the weight of the structure, but also set a strict rhythm for the order decor. Suitable for decorating ceiling caissons, wall panels, furniture facades, and door portals.
