Decor element pommel "Vase" (Model 1147) STL

The architectural element of the pommel type is a symmetrical composition with a central vertical axis. A stylized vase on a fluted base is positioned centrally, from which symmetrically diverging volutes transition into carved acanthus leaves, terminating in Baroque and Rococo scrolls. The volumetric bas-relief is built on the contrast between the smooth surfaces of the vessel body and the deeply carved plant ornament. The motif of the vase as a central crowning element (acroterion) became widespread in the architecture of the Italian Renaissance under the influence of Sebastiano Serlio's treatises, who revived the ancient tradition of using vessels to crown pediments and portals. Suitable for decorating furniture facades, door portals, ceiling coffers, wall panels, and interior home design.
