The decorative element "Swirl leaves" (Model 1162) is an asymmetrical bas-relief formed by a dynamic interweaving of volutes and stylized acanthus leaves. The composition is based on the smooth curve of a stem transitioning into scrolls with deep relief detailing of veins and leaf blade serrations. Such floral scrolls were extensively used in Baroque and Rococo decoration; specifically, the French designer Jean Le Poutre in his engravings of the second half of the 17th century standardized this type of asymmetrical acanthus ornament, establishing the foundations for the decoration of the interiors of Versailles. Suitable for decorating furniture facades, door portals, wall panels, and home interior decoration.
