Decor element "Vine branch" (Model 1139) is an asymmetric bas-relief formed by a winding shoot, lobed leaves with deep vein detailing, and a cluster of rounded berries complemented by a spiral tendril. The composition is based on the free rhythm of plant forms. The motif of the grapevine in ornamentation dates back to antiquity, where it symbolized abundance and was an integral part of Bacchic cult scenes; during the Renaissance, this type of decor was thoroughly reinterpreted by masters of Italian Mannerism and widely used in woodcarving for the decoration of church choirs and papal residences. Suitable for decorating furniture facades, door portals, ceiling coffers, wall panels, and interior home decoration.
