"Decor fish" (Model 1003) STL

The decorative element «Fish» (Model 1003) is a low relief with pronounced asymmetry in a static composition, reproducing the anatomical shape of a tropical fish of the cichlid family (angelfish). The shaping is based on the contrast of the planar body and developed vertically oriented fins with parallel fluted cutting. In the European decorative and applied tradition, images of fish as an independent heraldic and zoomorphic motif became widespread in the early Christian era (ichthys as a cryptogram), but zoologically accurate images of exotic fauna became in demand in interior ornamentation only during the heyday of the Chinoiserie style and 18th–19th century eclecticism, when European royalorangeries began keeping exotic freshwater fish. Suitable for decorating furniture facades, door portals, ceiling coffers, wall panels, and interior home design.

The digital 3D model in STL format is optimized for milling on CNC machines. The relief is adapted for the production of furniture and interior decor when working with solid wood, MDF, modeling plastic, or soft stone.
