Decor «Furniture Facade» (Model 1926) is a vertically oriented bas-relief with bilateral symmetry, structured around a combination of scrolls, foliage curves, and a central oval cartouche filled with a diagonal lattice grid. The composition is framed by stylized acanthus leaves and terminated with symmetrical palmettes at both ends. Historically, the cartouche motif combined with a diagonal grid pattern gained widespread prominence during the French Regency era and early Rococo period, popularized by mid-18th-century ornamentists such as Gilles-Marie Oppenord, who frequently integrated cartouches with rocaille scrolls in Parisian mansion interiors.
