Decor "Leaf" (Model 1042) STL

The decorative element “Leaf” (Model 1042) is an openwork relief ornament featuring bilateral symmetry relative to the central vein, formed by stylized leaf contours with pierced openwork sections and pronounced venation. The motif of a foliage leaf with a pierced background was extensively used in the decoration of wooden furniture and paneling during the Gothic and Renaissance periods, notably in the carving of fifteenth- and sixteenth-century Northern Renaissance choir stalls and screens, where openwork carving produced chiaroscuro effects against the background surface. Suitable for decorating furniture facades, door portals, ceiling coffers, wall panels, and interior architectural elements.
