Decor "Ornament - Grapes" (Model 1917) STL

The decorative element «Ornament — Grapes» (Model 1917) is a relief composition featuring bilateral symmetry, centered on a stylized palmette bound with a ribbon, from which volutes, carved acanthus leaves, and hanging festoons of grape clusters symmetrically diverge. The grapevine motif originates from classical antiquity, where it adorned Roman triumphal arches and friezes of temples dedicated to Bacchus, before being repopularized during the Italian Renaissance by the architect Andrea Palladio in the decoration of Venetian villas. Suitable for decorating furniture facades, door portals, ceiling coffers, wall panels, and interior architectural elements.
