"Decor overlay" (model 1023) STL

The vertically oriented decorative element features strict bilateral symmetry along the central axis. The composition combines a rectangular frame bordered by beaded moulding (astragal) with vegetative motifs. The upper and lower sections contain carved volutes and stylized acanthus leaves forming elaborate scrolls. The central field features a diagonal lattice pattern (interlaced strapwork) enclosed within a polygonal cartouche. This combination of lattice work and acanthus foliage was widely employed in the architectural ornamentation of French classicism during the reign of Louis XIV, with notable analogues present in the wood-carved boiserie of the Grand Trianon in Versailles. Suitable for decorating furniture facades, door portals, wall panels, and interior elements.
