"Decor overlay" (Model 1027) STL

The decorative element is a relief panel featuring bilateral vertical symmetry. The central section is occupied by a diamond-shaped element with a quilted (capitonné) surface, enclosed by a profiled frame. The corner zones and framing are rendered as symmetrical scroll volutes transitioning into stylized acanthus leaves, with a palmette motif crowning the upper composition. This specific motif of quilted upholstery combined with a carved wooden framework gained widespread popularity in France during the Second Empire era for furnishing upholstered furniture and architectural wall paneling. Suitable for decorating furniture facades, door portals, ceiling coffering, wall panels, and interior design elements.
