Decor "Rocalee Sink" (Model 1982) STL

The decorative element «Rocaille Shell» (Model 1982) is a bas-relief featuring pronounced bilateral symmetry, based on a stylized marine shell with radially divergent fluted segments. The lower section of the composition terminates in paired, oppositely directed volutes that form a stable base for the ornament. The shell motif (rocaille) became widespread in French decorative arts during the second quarter of the 18th century under Louis XV, and the style was formally established through the designs of Juste-Aurèle Meissonnier, who reinterpreted the asymmetric forms of natural shells for royal interiors. Suitable for decorating furniture facades, door portals, ceiling coffers, wall panels, and interior design elements.
