The decorative rosette model 1919 is a circular bas-relief featuring a fourth-order radial symmetry. The central composition consists of a circular torus molding from which four stylized petals of a cross-shaped floral ornament diverge, complemented by scrolls and acanthus leaf elements. The perimeter is framed by concentric circular moldings. Such four-part symmetrical rosettes were extensively utilized in Augustan Roman architecture for decorating marble vault coffers in temples, and were later revived by the architect Andrea Palladio in the sixteenth-century villas of the Veneto as part of the classical orders. Suitable for decorating furniture facades, door portals, ceiling coffers, wall panels, and interior elements.
The digital 3D model in STL format is optimized for CNC machines. The relief is adapted for milling in the production of furniture and interior decor from solid wood, MDF, modeling plastic, or soft stone.
