Decor «Rosette of 8 sides» (Model 1969) is a circular applied rosette featuring an eighth-order radial central symmetry. The composition is built upon an ornamental ring from which stylized acanthus leaves and symmetrical volutes radiate, forming a complex relief bas-relief centered with a circular medallion. Such eight-point geometric and floral rosettes were extensively utilized in the architecture of late 18th-century European classicism, notably in the decorative treatment of ceilings and doors within the pavilions of Versailles, where eight-part symmetry served to establish strict visual harmony and spatial centering.
