"Decor Vase with Flowers" (Model 2661) STL

The decorative element "Vase with Flowers" (Model 2661) is a vertically oriented relief characterized by bilateral symmetry. The composition is structured around a fluted stylized vase resting on a scrollwork base. From the neck of the vase, symmetrically diverging stems emerge, forming an openwork floral pattern with leaves and buds terminating in stylized blossoms. The central axis is emphasized by intertwined stems that create an arched contour. Motifs of vases with floral arrangements (known as "scambelli" or vases of abundance) became widespread in interior decoration during the Italian Renaissance through the treatises of Sebastiano Serlio and the ornamental engravings of Mannerist master Du Cerceau, which were extensively used in decorating French royal residences, including the Palace of Fontainebleau.
