Floral decor element (Model 1106) is a vertical relief ornament with bilateral symmetry, based on the rhythmic alternation of scrolls and stylized acanthus leaves. The composition develops along a vertical axis, forming a smooth S-shaped curve with terminal volutes and a detailed bas-relief. The motifs of acanthus and spiral volutes have been widely used in classical architecture since the 5th century BC, receiving canonical embodiment in the Corinthian order, and were later thoroughly cataloged by the architect Andrea Palladio in his treatise 'The Four Books of Architecture'.
