Architectural frieze (Model 1113) is a linear ornament with bilateral symmetry formed by alternating stylized palmettes and buds enclosed within an arched contour. The composition is based on the principles of the classical Greek order, where the palmette motif serves as the dominant element of decorative frieze filling. Such motifs were widely used in the architecture of Ancient Greece in the 5th century BC, specifically in the decoration of simas and antefixes of the temples of the Athenian Acropolis, from where they were later adopted into European neoclassical architecture and interior design by architect Charles Cameron for the ceremonial halls of the Pavlovsk and Catherine Palaces. Suitable for decorating furniture facades, door portals, ceiling coffers, wall panels, and home interior decoration.
The 3D model in STL format is optimized for milling on CNC machines. The relief is adapted for the production of furniture and interior decor when working with solid wood, MDF, modeling plastic, or soft stone.
