"Dante" (Model 3316) STL

The presented 3D model is a bust of Dante Alighieri, based on the classical iconography of the poet. The figure is frontally oriented, with a restrained posture conveying the stern and contemplative character of the thinker. The anatomical features of the face — a sharply defined profile, deep-set eyes, a prominent aquiline nose, and tightly compressed lips — reproduce the established historical appearance of the author of the «Divine Comedy», as recorded in Giotto's painting and subsequent Renaissance sculpture. The head is crowned with a traditional laurel wreath over a tightly fitted cap, and the neck is framed by the high collar of a closed tunic. The character's name is carved in relief on the front plane of the pedestal. Dante Alighieri entered history not only as a reformer of the Italian literary language, laying the foundations of national writing in the Tuscan dialect, but also as an active political figure of Florence who was sentenced to exile, leaving a tragic mark on all his work.
