Decorative frame (Model 6017) STL

Decorative frame (Model 6017) features a vertically oriented semi-oval geometry with a flattened top segment. The ornamental structure is based on the motif of a wrapped ribbon and draped fabric with tassels descending along the lateral sides. The cresting and the lower base are decorated with central cartouches featuring floral elements and volutes that secure the knots of the textile elements. This type of framing utilizing textile motifs, ribbons, and tassels became widespread during the Classical and Baroque periods, when mirror frames ceased to be merely functional objects and transformed into independent architectural interior elements that emphasized the owner's status due to the high cost of mirrors in the 17th and 18th centuries. The model is intended for framing wall mirrors, paintings, tapestries, portraits, and creating accent interior elements.

The digital 3D model is provided in STL format and optimized for machining on CNC milling machines. The relief is adapted for processing solid wood, MDF, or modeling board while maintaining high detail precision.
