Frame "Arch" (Model 6021) STL

Frame «Arch» (Model 6021) is a rectangular structure featuring an internal arched opening, supplemented by corner floral ornaments in the form of stylized volutes and linear grooves along the perimeter. The architectural form of the arched termination traces back to medieval portals and Renaissance niches, where arch framing was used to sacralize and visually emphasize the central object. Historically, arched frames became widespread during the early Classicism and Empire periods for integrating mirrors into wooden wall paneling (boiserie), which visually expanded the space of formal interiors. The model is designed for framing wall mirrors, paintings, tapestries, portraits, and creating accent interior elements.

The 3D model is provided in STL format and optimized for CNC milling machines. The relief is adapted for machining solid wood, MDF, or modeling plastic. The preparation of control programs for milling can be performed in software environments such as ArtCAM, NC Studio, or Mach3.
