The frame "Circle" (Model 6052) is a circular framing molding featuring a geometrically structured triangular-rounded pattern composed of repeating arched elements with vegetative relief. The profile is symmetrical, lacking a distinct crest or console base due to the circular symmetry of the composition. Round mirrors and paintings gained widespread use during the Renaissance and Baroque periods when advancements in glassmaking allowed for the production of large cast mirror plates of precise geometric shape, which required monumental and proportionate framing. The model is intended for framing wall mirrors, paintings, tapestries, portraits, and creating accent interior elements.
