Frame "Decor" (model 6165) STL

The "Decor" frame (Model 6165) features a complex vertically symmetrical configuration with a tapering arched aperture outline of the central opening. The ornamental structure is built upon Rococo design principles, dominated by asymmetric scrolls, volutes, and floral motifs. The crest (top) is framed by a prominent central cartouche with radiating acanthus leaves and symmetrical curls transitioning into lateral sprawling shoots. The lower section mirrors the crest motif, completing the composition with a balanced ornamental block. During the Baroque and Rococo eras in France, carved wooden mirror frames were frequently water-gilded with gold leaf and integrated into wooden wall paneling (boiserie), forming a unified spatial ensemble with the architectural interior decor. The model is intended for framing wall mirrors, paintings, tapestries, portraits, and creating accent interior elements.
