Frame "Nature" (model 6066) STL

The rectangular frame of model 6066 features a rigid geometric base framed by a profiled inner cord molding. The ornamental composition is built upon floral motifs: the corner zones are emphasized by voluminous rosebuds and complex leaf nodes connected along the perimeter by a continuous garland of plant shoots and ribbons. The upper and lower sections of the frame are symmetrically loaded with central plant-based cartouches surrounded by symmetrical scrolls. Historically, floral ornaments and naturalistic garlands of flowers and fruits became widespread in framing during the Baroque and Neoclassicism eras, when mirrors ceased to be exclusively items of private cabinets and began to occupy dominant planes in the state interiors of Versailles and European residences.
