The rectangular decorative frame "Openwork" (Model 6020) features a symmetrical composition with a wide openwork slotted pattern along the perimeter. The inner smooth profile is framed by a deep relief consisting of intertwined plant shoots, scroll volutes, and stylized rosettes evenly distributed along the sides, corners, and in the upper header and lower base zones. This type of pierced fretwork ornamentation became widespread in the framing art of the 19th-century Historicism and Eclecticism eras, when the development of mechanized saws and planes enabled the production of complex lattice structures imitating manual Baroque and Rococo carving. The model is intended for framing wall mirrors, paintings, tapestries, portraits, and creating accent interior elements.
