Hybrid frame «Rocale» (model 6214) STL

The hybrid frame «Rocaille» (Model 6214) is a vertically oriented rectangular structure with a figured arched profile outline. The ornamental composition is constructed in the Rococo style, dominated by asymmetric scrolls, rocaille motifs, and stylized acanthus leaves. The crest (top) of the frame features a prominent cartouche with an asymmetric scroll surrounded by floral shoots extending into lateral ears. The lower part of the frame terminates in a symmetrical rocaille keystone and divergent scroll-like feet. During the reign of Louis XV, Rococo frames were predominantly carved from wood and subsequently water-gilded over gesso, used to decorate French townhouses (particularly salons and boudoirs) and frequently integrated into wooden wall paneling (boiserie). The model is intended for framing wall mirrors, paintings, tapestries, portraits, and creating accent interior elements.

The digital 3D model is provided in STL format and optimized for milling on CNC routers. The relief is adapted for machining solid wood, MDF, or modeling board. The preparation of toolpaths (UP) and machining time calculation can be performed in specialized software packages such as ArtCAM, NC Studio, or Mach3.
