The frame features a regular oval geometry with a concise smooth profile devoid of complex peripheral carving. The upper section (cresting) is ornamented with a single applied decorative element composed of stylized acanthus leaves and symmetrical volute scrolls, while the lower section and lateral zones remain plain. Historically, oval frames became widespread during the early Classicism and Baroque eras, when advancements in sheet glass casting and grinding technology enabled the production of small oval mirrors of regular shape, which required strict and restrained framing for placement in cabinet and dressing room interiors. The model is intended for framing wall mirrors, paintings, tapestries, portraits, and creating accent interior elements.
The digital 3D model is provided in STL format and optimized for milling on CNC machines. The relief is adapted for machining hardwood and softwood species, MDF, or model board. The file is compatible with standard CAD/CAM software for generating G-code, including ArtCAM, NC Studio, and Mach3, allowing its use on both compact desktop CNC routers and heavy industrial equipment.
