Oval frame «Rococo» (model 6197) STL

The oval frame «Rococo» (Model 6197) is a vertically oriented oval framing featuring a dense, asymmetrical relief ornament. The composition is built using classic Rococo elements: the upper section (crest) is crowned with a prominent cartouche framed by scrolls and vegetative shoots transitioning into acanthus leaves. The lateral sides are decorated with floral and leaf garlands, alongside stylized rocaille shells. The lower section terminates in a symmetrical rocaille element with scrolling volutes. Historically, during the reign of Louis XV, Rococo mirror and picture frames were hand-carved from lime or pine wood by master craftsmen, then coated with gesso and gilded to seamlessly integrate the reflective glass surface with the interior decoration of French salons. This model is intended for framing wall mirrors, paintings, tapestries, portraits, and creating accent interior elements.

The 3D model is provided in STL format and optimized for machining on CNC routers. The relief is adapted for processing solid wood, MDF, or modeling board. The preparation of control programs (G-code/toolpaths) and estimation of machining time can be performed using software such as ArtCAM, NC Studio, or Mach3.
