The oval frame «Rococo» (Model 6206) is a vertically oriented oval structure featuring a complex symmetrical ornament. The upper and lower sections (crest and base) dominate the profile through developed rocaille motifs, asymmetric volutes, scrolls, and stylized acanthus leaves that transition into lateral floral garlands. Historically, rococo frames in mid-18th-century French interiors were frequently designed in close coordination with wall boiserie and trumeau mirrors, forming a unified decorative scheme with wall moldings. The advancement of large-scale mercury mirror production in Venice during the 17th and 18th centuries necessitated robust carved frames capable of supporting heavy glass while masking structural joints.
