Oval frame «Rococo» (model 6217) STL

The oval frame «Rococo» (Model 6217) is a vertically oriented oval with a profile decorated with repeating arched elements. The upper and lower headers are symmetrically adorned with central palmettes surrounded by symmetrically diverging volutes and plant scrolls. In the Rococo style, which emerged in France during the second quarter of the 18th century under Louis XV, asymmetry and fluid forms replaced heavy Baroque classicism, reflected in the popularity of carved wooden and plaster frames dominated by rocaille, acanthus leaves, and C-scroll motifs.
