Oval frame «Rococo» (model 6248) STL

The oval frame «Rococo» (Model 6248) is a vertically oriented structure of a complex figured shape with an asymmetric character of ornamentation. The central oval opening is framed by a profiled frame turning in the lateral parts into volutes and plant curls. The developed crest (headpiece) dominates the composition and includes a central oval cartouche surrounded by stylized rocaille shells and diverging acanthus leaves crowning the upper point. The lower part is decorated with symmetrical opposing volutes and a small rocaille completing the general silhouette. Historically, during the reign of Louis XV, mirrors in massive carved frames in the Rococo style became a key element of the interior of French salons and galleries, replacing heavy Baroque wood wall panelling and visually expanding the space by reflecting candlelight. The model is intended for framing wall mirrors, paintings, tapestries, portraits, as well as creating accent interior elements.

The digital 3D model in STL format is designed for automated milling on CNC machines. The relief is adapted for processing solid wood, MDF, or model plastic. Preparation of control programs and visualization of the milling process can be performed in software environments such as ArtCAM and NC Studio, with subsequent code transfer to Mach3 controllers.
