The frame features an oval geometry with complex symmetrical decoration along the outer perimeter. The inner edge is framed with a beaded molding (perle), transitioning into an outer openwork zone featuring floral motifs. The crest (top) and bottom sections are symmetrical, decorated with central oval cartouches surrounded by scrolls and acanthus leaves; identical lateral cartouches are symmetrically positioned along the vertical axis of the frame. Historically, oval frames became widespread during the Baroque and Rococo eras in 17th- and 18th-century France, when advancements in sheet glass manufacturing allowed for the production of large-scale mirrors that required massive wooden framing to compensate for structural mechanical stresses. The model is intended for framing wall mirrors, paintings, tapestries, portraits, and creating accent interior elements.
The file is a 3D model in STL format, optimized for machining on CNC milling machines. The relief is adapted for multi-pass machining on vertical CNC routers using solid wood, MDF, plywood, or modeling plastics. The preparation of control programs (G-code) for the equipment is carried out in specialized CAD/CAM environments such as ArtCAM, NC Studio, or Mach3, using end and ball-nose milling cutters.
