The rectangular frame «Amur» (Model 6264) is executed in the Baroque style. The composition is based on a combination of a strict geometric aperture and an elaborate upper crest. The top of the frame features a central shell-cartouche flanked by volutes and floral ornaments, beneath which is a relief depiction of a cherub's (cupid's) head. The side posts are decorated with twisted columns, while the bottom rail features a symmetrical floral ornament with rocaille elements. Historically, massive carved frames with prominent crests became widespread during the Baroque and Rococo eras in France, when advancements in mirror manufacturing allowed for the production of large-scale glass plates, requiring substantial architectural framing to support the weight and stabilize the structure visually. The model is intended for framing wall mirrors, paintings, tapestries, portraits, and creating accent interior elements.
The three-dimensional model is provided in STL format and optimized for machining on CNC routers. The relief is adapted for processing solid wood, MDF, or model board. The digital file is ready for import into specialized software such as ArtCAM or NC Studio to generate toolpaths (G-code) for CNC controllers, including Mach3, allowing for machining time estimation and simulation of the milling process.
