The rectangular frame (model 6091) features an asymmetrical composition with prominent corner elements styled as shells (cartouches) and scrolls. The framing profile is decorated with a fine punchwork pattern on the inner field and foliate motifs. The upper and lower terminals (crests) are accented by central symmetric cartouches with fan-shaped shells and diverging acanthus leaves. Historically, asymmetrical frames became widespread during the Baroque and Rococo periods (the first half of the 18th century), when master carvers abandoned strict axial symmetry in favor of dynamic curved forms that emphasized the spatial illusion of mirrors in French residential interiors. The model is intended for framing wall mirrors, paintings, tapestries, portraits, and creating accent interior elements.
The digital 3D model is provided in STL format and is optimized for machining on CNC routers. The relief is adapted for processing solid hardwoods and softwoods, MDF, and modeling plastics. The preparation of toolpaths for manufacturing the product can be performed in specialized software environments such as ArtCAM, NC Studio, or Mach3.
