Rectangular frame (Model 6016) STL

The rectangular frame (Model 6016) features a strict geometric form with a profiled inner perimeter decorated with a twisted pattern and bead-and-reel molding. The top and bottom sections are symmetrically adorned with central cartouches surrounded by stylized volutes and diverging acanthus leaves, while similar floral elements anchor the corner zones. Historically, picture and mirror frames with prominent corner and central relief elements became widespread during the Baroque and Neoclassical periods, when large-format mirror glass production required heavy structural wooden framing to prevent warping and securely hold the heavy glass. The model is intended for framing wall mirrors, paintings, tapestries, portraits, and creating accent interior elements.

The 3D model is provided in STL format and optimized for CNC milling machines. The relief is adapted for machining solid wood, MDF, or modeling polyurethane. Toolpath generation for milling can be performed in software environments such as ArtCAM, NC Studio, or Mach3.
